Industrial Music’s Legendary Loss.

Waxtrax_logo_introI busted my ass in the 90s working for the greatest record label ever, WaxTrax Records. I’ve made friends, became part of stories, history & news. I felt like I became part of a family, albeit a late newcomer but better than never. I owe Jim [Nash] & Dannie [Flesher] for my eventual friendship with En Esch & Guenter Schulz (from KMFDM – WaxTrax Artists) and ultimately becoming their drummer in Slick Idiot [video].

I’m honored to be part of WaxTrax’s history even though some of it wasn’t great history to be a part of…. I remember when Jim died, it was a heart breaking day, and this day equally hurts the same. Dannie you will be missed and thank you BOTH for your passion and for giving us (WaxTrax/TVT artists, crew & family) a great home to be ourselves!

R.I.P. Guys, R.I.P.

Now WaxTrax is truly over….

  1. Man, I remember I would buy anything from that label, just because it was Wax Trax !! He and Mr. Nash were pioneers of the "indy" labels. He will be missed.
