My little Pomeranian, till I moved out of my parent’s home, has passed on. She lived 19yrs and gave our family lots of joy and happiness. She died of natural causes, peacefully, in her little pet bed last night at 11pm. I was hoping I’d get to introduce both Sylvia and Lulu to each other this summer but unfortunately that will not happen now. She was a tough little dog; she got into an entire Valentine ’s Day box of chocolate (a fatal amount) and survived it, and survived an attack from another dog of ours, almost fatally mauling her to death and she made it through a surgery for an aneurysm caused by stress which the doctor said she WOULD NOT live through, almost 5 years ago (hence her shut eye).
She was bossy, a little trooper and refused to die when she should have. So, according to my mother, Lulu may have known last night was her time to go, she ate really well the day before (considering she had NO appetite days earlier) and then last night she acted oddly sluggish and walked into her pet bed herself and I guess was ready to go, which she did.
Such a beautiful end to a LONG great life for her. She will be missed. Rest in peace, Lulu. Now bark orders as much as you want up there! See you soon

Thanks for writing this Mike… We are burying Lulu today, when dad gets home… It's strange being here with her gone… That little dog had a huge presence in this home and we all miss her so much already… Thankfully, she went comfortably and quietly… But this blog was really nice… Love you and wish you guys could be here with us today… Love you…
To all the people who have never owned a pet such as lIttle lulu, she was one of a kind! She loved all of us until death, and was always by my side. I hope to see her when I begin my long journey home some day. . . and then she will take her place again! Right beside me, my buddy Lulu!
